NP bell.jpg (19133 bytes)np bell casting.jpg (27196 bytes)np bell inside.jpg (22305 bytes)   NORTHERN PACIFIC  Steam locomotive bell from the Northern Pacific Railway in excellent condition.  The bell diameter is just under 16 inches.  Everything is there including the air cylinder that is used for the automatic ringing.  The pull handle for the rope is solid brass!  The small bearing that sits on the cylinder is cracked as you can see in the photo, but still moves and operates freely.  Very hard to find locomotive bells in better condition than this one, and having one that is cast from the RR is even harder.  This is one heavy item so picking it up near Colorado Springs or Denver would be preferred.  Price:  2,750.00

atsf4.jpg (25846 bytes)atsf3.jpg (25112 bytes)atsf1.jpg (25912 bytes)atsf.jpg (27957 bytes)  A.T.& S.F.  Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe caboose stove!  Talk about your rare item!!  The style indicates this stove is from the 1870's time frame.  Cast right in front on the bottom in front of the ash pan opening is A T & S F.  On the side it is cast ATCHISON, KANS.  The stove is missing the ash pan itself along with the grate, otherwise complete.  The bolts that hold the stove in place are the originals.  This is a larger item that would have to be picked up near Colorado Springs, Colorado.  I would prefer to trade for an interesting item from the Colorado Midland Ry, or from one of the railroad's that ran in the Cripple Creek District.  If you just have cash to trade........  Price:   1,500.00

bw1.jpg (6700 bytes)  LONERGAN SINGLE CHIME BRASS WHISTLE   Working brass whistle made by Lonergan in Philadelphia, Penna.  Size of the bell is 1" by 2.5", with an overall height of the whistle of 6 inches, and an air inlet size of 7/16".  As you can see in the photo, the top loop hole on the handle is broken off, but everything else is there and in working order.  Perfect size whistle for your backyard live steam locomotive.   Sold

bw3.jpg (4457 bytes)  LUNKENHEIMER SINGLE CHIME BRASS WHISTLE  Very nice whistle with GREAT patina, made by Lunkenheimer.   Size of the bell is 2" by 4", with an overall length of 9 1/2", and an air inlet size of 3/4".  It appears this whistle was used in a sawmill or lumber operation, as there is a lot of what appears to be sawdust around the inside chamber.   Very nice condition, but this one is missing the valve.  Still a harder size to find and in very good condition.  Price:  175.00

bw11.jpg (4407 bytes)  AERMORE 4 CHIME WHISTLE  Very good condition 4 chime whistle made by AERMORE with a patent date of 1912.  Each whistle bell is 1 inch in diameter, with the four lengths being; 4 3/4",  6 7/8", 8" and 10 1/4".  The inlet size is 1 1/4", with an overall length of 13 inches.  I have been told this type of whistle is currently being used on the street cars in a museum in Wisconsin, and also this type was used by guys wanting to have a "train whistle" on their model A cars.  (they used a valve to move the engine exhaust from the muffler to this type of whistle.....one wonders what looks they received!)  This type of whistle does not have a valve assembly, but you can easily adapt one for it.    Price:   125.00
